Description An account of the resource Jasmin Joseph, was well known for works that followed Christian themes and centered on biblical subjects. Initially a follower of Vodou, Joseph converted to Protestantism sometime in the 1950s, and created a growing portfolio of paintings with biblical themes in addition to his sculpture work. Like many of his later pieces, this particular painting could be interpreted to depict Christ as its center, the animals seemingly answering to his call.
