DON’T WATER DOWN THE LIQUOR. (HAITI). A 1-page large folio broadside headed “Law,” in French, July 16, 1908 signed in type by many officials. The law spells out the penalties for the falsification of wine, liquor, medicine, etc. In the interest of public health, (falsification meaning the introduction of foreign substances into the beverage or medicine). Scarce.
