About the Artist

Charles Davidson (aka Charles Art Jerry), was born in Port-au-Prince in 1999. In 2014, he embarked on his artistic journey, focusing on the rich and vibrant Haitian voodoo culture. His early work involved collaborating with foreign painters visiting Haiti, where he shared his deep knowledge of voodoo and Haitian art.The rhythms of voodoo music inspire him as he paints, allowing him to weave the stories and traditions of Haiti and Haitian voodoo culture into his art.

Charles’ work has been exhibited internationally at renowned galleries such as Polysemy Gallery (Paris), Claire Cosica (Marseille), Gallery Exodo (Puerto Rico), and the Ghetto Biennale (Port-au-Prince).
